Washington DC – Congressman Devin Nunes today addressed his colleagues on the House floor in opposition to H.R. 3962, the government takeover of health care in America. 

During his remarks, Rep. Nunes compared government spending in 2009, including the new trillion dollar health reform bill, with the actions of a “broke gambler who desperately keeps doubling down in a vain effort to break even.”

“Tonight, House Democrats passed a trillion dollar government health program despite the fact that we can’t afford to pay for the two existing government run health programs - Medicare and Medicaid,” said Rep. Nunes.
